Many of us arrive at that fork in the road
Where the burden we carry becomes a heavier load
We wonder what to do as it becomes time for a change
We need help to get our lives rearranged

Some of us go to other people, the answer is not there
They would love to help, but they are not aware
Of what to do so they soon close their door
Leaving us realizing we're no better than we were before

Other doors are closed but one is always open to us
A door with an opening that all of us can trust
To enter in times of pain, worry, or just feeling blue
Our Heavenly Father keeps the door open waiting on me or you

That door is attached to the House of Prayer
As soon as we enter our Heavenly Father will meet us there
He will hold us securely in His love
Each time we yield to our Heavenly Father above

In order to enter His House, it's no further away
Then at the place we decide to kneel and pray
We must first have confidence, faith is the key
As we pray asking our Heavenly Father please deliver me

That's the perfect time to fully open our hearts
And let our Heavenly Father make the heavy load depart
By asking Him to look down from up above
We are asking Him in prayer to shower us with His love

I believe if we first do, and then maintain our best
We can pass the baton, and He will do the rest
The longer we live we learn as we kneel and pray
We go thru the door to the House that makes the fork in the road obey
